Trip to Sunway was hilarious. Never knew Pn Niswan was so funny and entertaining!
There were around 360 participants for the competition, which made it around 180 teams as each team consisted of 2 participants. That amount of students really put me off guard. Sunway was really filled with Sunway students and normal high school students man.
There were two rounds. First round was an individual based multiple choice question. Each correct answer gives 2 points. Incorrect ones give a negative 1. Unanswered ones leave us with no impact. So apparently our strategy was not to risk anything. With that in mind, i only blackened 10 circles. And there were 25 questions to be finished within 45 minutes. Insufficient time! And as i started the paper from question number 1 till the end and skipped the ones i thought was troublesome, i did not realise that the last few questions, 5 to be precise, were REALLY EASY! I left three of it blank because i had not time to read! If only i had a few more minutes, i might get 3 more definite answers! Grr! Levonne also blackened 10 or 11. Charissa blackened more. CengYew blackened 10 too i guess but he thought that one of his answers was already wrong. :(
Short break at a hall. Pathetic seating if you asked me. Sorry Roger. :P Then saw KimLi and KhaiShien! KhaiShien was one of the top PMR students in KL two years ago!
After the break, we continued with Round 2. In this round, team work was needed. Discussion was allowed. There were 15 questions only. Each question was only given around 90 to 120 seconds. And all of the questions were FREAKING difficult! Out of 15 Levonne and i only got 5 correct! And that Catholic High team got almost all of them correct! As they sat near us, we kept on looking at their answers. And they always got 'em correct. It was really nerve breaking!
In the end we won nothing. Haha. First place was taken by Catholic High. One of the surprising things was one of the top 15 individuals in Round 1 was my friend Tan Kha Hau from TsunJin high school! Haven't seen him in a while and he's gotten so smart!
I was actually quite pleased with my own achievement until i saw Kha Hau on the stage! He's so good in Math! Then i felt as though i could have done better. ~.~
To ease our loss, all of us went to Sunway Pyramid! Didn't do much. Walked here and there and watched the people ice skated. That's all? And headed back. To kawad. =.= Oh. Saw a few seniors there. WaiShen and her boyfriend. Sorry i never knew how to spell his name. :P Erm and i thought i saw KaYan too? And apparently Harinder's brother was there too. And saw some hot
Anyway to all my friends, especially Garry, SereneLiew, SheMei and Andrew, brighten up! :) Seeing your sad faces really pains my heart. Sigh. Let all the problems go far far away and smile together alright? :D Go go listen to Remember The Time by Kris Allen from American Idol! :P
