Quick update for the weekend!

Hectic Saturday! So unjust! So dirty! So messy! Precisely why I despise politics! Hate trickery and cheats. We are talking about actual people getting trampled, getting shot, getting punched, getting kicked, getting hurt! How are we supposed to feel safe when the authority treats us like that?! And, they are trying to control the press?! I can only show you my middle finger.

Yellow no longer has only one meaning.

Glad to have spent my Sunday with Scarlett Johansson! She is AMAZING. Well, I mean Black Widow. Not exactly Johansson. The show is amazing. Great action! Great humour! Great entertainment! I still don't like Captain America. He's so old school-ed! Totally in love with Black Widow. I think Black Widow and Hawkeye deserved the most credit because they did not have extra-terrestrial abilities like the rest of them yet they were fighting the enemies head on! But still, Black Widow deserved the credit because she's hot and cunning and, well, hot.

Well, that's all. Watch it if you haven't. A must watch!

Every time this happens, I walk away slightly more hurt. It reminds me of all the past failures, all my past failures. I walk away, slightly more hurt. And with more and more unpleasant memories piling up, I find it harder to focus. And, I find myself in a more dire need of a reset button.

But, my conscious is telling me to never give up! The least I can do is, continue what I am doing.

The tough gets slightly tougher!

Well. I think I have put it behind me. What did I put behind me? This.

A rejection from MNRB. "With deep regret.....limited allocation....wish you all the best...." And I was depending so much on this one.

Another rejection from NTU. "...application has not been successful..."

Then, I just realized that I am not eligible to apply for Maybank's scholarship. Because I am old. Bummer.

So after an extremely sluggish and lethargic day, I've decided to put them all behind me and continue marching on!

And how I wish I can go hang out with someone right now. Just being around someone, that's all.

Oh by the way, Touch Me by Katharine McPhee (from the new show Smash) is so good! I had it on repeat since afternoon. "Touch me, touch me.......Come on and love me...." Quite erotic lyrics though. Heeee.

Yayasan Khazanah Scholarship - Stage One

It was an assessment stage. There were five papers to be completed within a very, very limited time. They could all be categorized under IQ tests, nevertheless they weren't that simple.

Among the five papers, some were questions about mathematical sequences, some about mathematical reasoning (more famously known as the meaningless form four topic "if....then...."), some tested our logic by requiring us to rearrange the pictures to provide a logical story line (like what the kids at kindergarten would do), another one tested on Venn diagram and one last one tested on recognizing simple shapes out of complex ones.

Apparently there are samples online and I just found out after sitting for the test.

And the test is...quite universal. I shall not define what I mean by that. *wink*

Anyway the test was FUN and EXCITING! It was so challenging! And the time limit didn't exactly make it easy for me! But I really enjoyed the thrill!

And, I am super happy to have known a great friend, Mr Toh. I promised to add him on Facebook but the problem is I CANNOT LOCATE HIS PROFILE!

And, I do not have his number. =.=

Well, that's pretty much all about it.

Two rejections, One disappointment, Three times the pain

I received TWO rejections in one night.

At the same night, I found out that I am not qualified to apply for Maybank scholarship.

And, I could not find the profile of the new friend I met today.

Three very saddening matters to me.

*sigh*

When the going gets tougher?

I have so much to say. So much to pen down. So many thoughts to be jotted down before they are lost and replaced by other newer opinions and memories. If I had a notepad or Ipad with internet, I may have the luxury to do so. Doing it with paper and pen just doesn't seem too..professional. And writing down your thoughts literally just seems to lack a bit of privacy. That's how I feel anyway.

So many things are happening right now. I feel like I am losing my sense of grip. I feel like I no longer know what is important. As if, I am losing touch from reality. Again, what I am going through right now is like a phase where nothing is certain. Nothing is definite. Anything and everything could just go wrong. I would really love for things to be the way I want them to be, but I can only hope.

I would love to put my thoughts into words right now, but tomorrow is another working day. I guess maybe I can update my thoughts at work tomorrow?

I just hope, the going no longer gets tough. That's all.
