SAD SAD.

MY FOSTER THE PEOPLE CONCERT!

I won the tickets from MTV. TWO FREE TICKETS. I LOOKED FORWARD TO IT THE WHOLE BLOODY WEEK. In the end I had high fever on that day. A fever which I should have recovered from from days before. DAMN IT!

FUCK.

Now I can only regret for getting sick.

DAMN LUCK.

Don't disturb me when I'm sick.

Especially when it is exam period. And especially when I want to accomplish many things, yet I lack the energy to do so. 力不从心.

Fever fever go away. Never ever come again. Or else I will swear you to death! Grr.

I feel like swearing very badly right now. Grr.

HKU Interview 2012

The method with which this interview was conducted was a little unexpected to me. I really thought that HKU would want a one-to-one interview to get to know the applicants in a more personal way. Such a prestigious and famous and highly recommended university, of course they would want to choose their applicants more carefully, no? I was proven wrong. It was a group discussion-type interview. More like JPA style. But this was more straight forward. No introduction. Not much of pep talk. Straight to the point.

There were two person in the room. One lecturer, Mr Michael, from Faculty of Law. The other was from the Admission Office. I recognise her because she came to my college to give a briefing about HKU. I think her name was Li Ling. And there were six of us, interviewees, in the room. In Star Education Fair. In KLCC. (An unexpected venue if you ask me) The coincidental thing was, one of the six interviewees in my group is my primary school friend! And another one is my college friend! What coincidence!

The questioned brought forward by Mr Michael was religion-related. I don't remember how he structured his question but it was some along the line of severity of religion problems in this world and if there is any solution to it. My brained spelled What The Fuck. We managed to say something. There were two really strong speakers in my group. Confident, fluent and full of points. One of them is a girl from Help named Carmen. The other one is a guy from..no idea where. Really strong candidate. Salute them!

The whole half an hour discussion was solely focused on religion and nothing else. This topic really didn't benefit me at all. It would be the last discussion EVER that I would touch on. Yet I think I know what my weaknesses are and I will definitely try to change them. I hope I can. For a better interviews in the future, I must give it a try! Nevertheless, HKU interview was a good experience. Best of luck to the applicants who will be getting the offer!

With so much to do, do I have enough time?

I hope I do. University application. Revision. More revision. Interviews. Sluggishness. More sluggishness.

Somehow it has always been a constant fight. A constant inner fight with my own will and power. To overcome laziness. Not so easy. I need a stronger will! I need a stronger motivation!

I NEED SOMETHING TO HURT ME SO BAD, THAT I WILL GET DOWN TO BUSINESS ONCE AND FOR ALL!

ROAR!

Hello World, Would you listen?

And I say that with a desperate voice. ):

要完全以包容及礼让的心态去面对人,有时真的真的并不简单。我真的还要去学习,还要去修养。

Sigh. 孩子,专心读书吧。

Happy New 2012 !

Time flies faster when your age begins with the digit 'two'. Or so I heard. Though I am not as old as a friend of mine who has already turned 20, the thought of turning 20 is actually rather scary. I still have the mentality of a ten-year-old and I do not want to grow up. I used to really want to grow up faster because I thought I had the maturity which I thought few people around me had. Apparently I was wrong. Proven wrong. Not the best experience in the world when I was proven wrong. My point is, I don't want to grow up because I don't think I am physically and mentally prepared for it yet. I've been trying to prepare myself for it recently. Yet, I only got stuck at watching more and more dramas. Where did my alleged maturity go to? No idea. I guess I really need to get the hang of myself and start focusing on what's really important. I need motivation.

Anyway does anyone know any good part time jobs? Somewhere fun with relatively good pay. Fun as in, interactive. I always dream of working in a place where I have to interact with customers just like how waiters entertain their customers in a restaurant or like how someone works in a hotel? I suppose that could be real fun! Any idea? I am DYING for an interesting job! I want to get some pretty exciting experience!

By the way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIM YEE SHAN! You're so old! :P Love you, friend!

She's a cute friend. Really cute friend. Hehe.

By the way I've been seeing some very meaningful yet unexpected phrases recently. However there is this very relevant phrase that is stuck in my head. I saw this on the back of someone's shirt, which is kinda ironic. No idea why. So for the sake of remembrance, here goes.

Hard work beats talent if talent does not work hard.
So, Mr Chow Hoo Keen, work hard please?
