Emo now.

Just finished watching American Idol. Really emo now. Undoubtedly Archuleta was the best of the night and he really really really deserves to win. By right, he SHOULD win. Yet, bottom of my heart i want Cook to win. He is such a nice guy and he has great talents!

Somehow i think this show is meant for Archuleta to win. Shit. I sound like a total loser now! It's impossible that Cook didn't realise how un-finale-like his song choices were. Especially the final two songs. They were good performances. Yet not great enough to be winning songs. There must be something wrong or somewhat. It's really impossible for Cook to slip his chance of winning just like that. There must be something wrong for Cook to choose such un-finale-like songs! There must be a reasonable [or unreasonable] reason behind this! I really cannot accept this fact!

On the other hand, Archuleta really picked some really nice songs. Like i said, slow ballads can't be more appropriate to be sung at the finale. I like his first song the most. Followed by second song and Imagine [the second song is really self-centred XD].

In my opinion, in order to 'counterattack' Archuleta, Cook should rock his way through the finale night. Why? He is not capable of 'fighting' Archuleta with slow ballad songs, obviously. Therefore he should have done something Archuleta is not good at - rock songs. Though 'Dream On' is kinda a rock song but it is more to pop. That's what i thought.

How can Cook win?
- He has got a standing ovation by one of the judges.
- His first performance was praised phenomenal by Simon.
- He is the most sincere contestant we have ever had, like Simon said.
- He has been more consistent than Archuleta in the history of American Idol Season Seven

Why can't Cook win?
- It was a knockout by Archuleta.
- Three of Archuleta's songs were ballad - his strong point.
- Obviously most of the people was more attracted to Archuleta's performances, seeing how Simon kept on crown Archuleta as winner for all three rounds.
- Cook did not leave any remarkable performances at the finale night.

*sigh*

What will happen if Cook wins? I will feel bad because obviously Archuleta deserves more, based on the finale.

What happens if Cook loses? I will feel bad either because i want him to win EVER SO BADLY! Emo for days!


But who do i wish to be the winner? David Archuleta. Because at this point, Archuleta deserves the crown more than Cook. If Cook is the winner, the case would be like Clay Aiken and Ruben where everyone says that the runner-up is far better than the winner itself. This affects Cook's dignity [i actually care about his dignity. i am amazed at myself. *LOL*]. Therefore, when Cook loses, the case would be like Daughtry's where he continues to be famous and sells more album than any other contestants in the history and continues to be so creative and talented and being gifted 4X platinum or more. Then, it proves even more that being the winner of American Idol doesn't really matter if you are truly talented.

In my opinion again, i am not sure if Archuleta can come out with good-selling albums. He is a very good performer, like Doolittle. But can he make good albums like Underwood or Clarkson or Daughtry? I am in doubt. If he is only a good performer like Doolittle, what makes him different from her? It's because he is young. He is, according to the girls, cute and hot. He is a guy, therefore is able to attract more fans, who mainly consists of girls. His fans might buy his album when his first album comes out. But i am really not sure if that album can be as outstanding as Breakaway, Thankful, Daughtry or Underwood's albums.

Deep down my heart, i hope his album fails, then it gives Cook the chance to shine as i believe he will shine!

Okay i think i've typed all that i wanted.
